Distinct Looks

Both F-150 trims bring a strong bold style with minor differences around the exterior of the truck. The first noticeable difference is the unique grill designs that each have their own personality. Another exterior difference is that the door handles as well as the side-mirrors on the XLT are black plastic while on the Lariat trim they are body color. Comparison Summary

Both of these trims have great style and capable engines but there is a noticeable step up in features going from XLT to Lariat. The Lariat gives truck buyers great comfort with leather interior and plenty of standard features including the (BLIS) Blind Spot Information System. The XLT is great for customers on a slightly tighter budget. If the features on the Lariat trim don't spike your interest you can save some money and still drive off with a great all-around truck. You could even add a technology package or the chrome appearance package and still be saving money.

Keep in mind Ford updated the design of the F-150 in 2021 and the photos used on this page are from both generations. If you have any questions please feel free to ask our knowledgeable staff by calling, texting, or using our website.
