Monetary Sponsorship Requests
McGrath Cares 2026 Event Sponsorship applications open September 1st. Deadline will be October 31st. The McGrath Cares committee will review and notify applicants by the first week of January 2026.
Non-Monetary Donations
Non-monetary funds and silent auction requests are open year-round and should be submitted 30 days prior to the event
Greater Cedar Rapids Foundation
McGrath Cares focuses on event sponsorships. If you're looking for larger program funding or grants, we recommend reaching out to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation-they're a great resource for that kind of support! DEADLINE TO APPLY IS SEPTEMBER 12TH

Through our McGrath Cares initiative, the McGrath Family of Dealerships proudly continues a long-standing tradition of community support. For over 70 years, we've been deeply involved in the Cedar Rapids area, giving back through event sponsorships, volunteer efforts, donations, and fundraising partnerships. To date, we've contributed thousands of dollars and countless volunteer hours to local causes, organizations, and events that make our community stronger.
McGrath Cares Community Drive
The McGrath Cares Community Drive represents our commitment to fostering a compassionate and supportive community in Eastern Iowa. Held quarterly, this event exists as a partnership with a different non-profit organization every three months, for a variety of causes. During these events, customers are invited to participate in a meaningful exchange: by bringing in donations they'll also receive an extra benefit in return - a discount on service!
In addition to the Community Drive, each event will feature the McGrath AutoCare Giveaway! This special opportunity is exclusive to participants who sign up in person on the day of the event. There will be one lucky winner during each event!
Every location's service drive will be participating in this event, so that no matter where you are, you have a chance to donate and a chance to win!
While we strive to support a wide range of needs, the following fall outside our current funding criteria:
- Individual needs, including scholarships, medical bills, and beauty contest candidates
- Political organizations
- Membership dues
- Travel funds for tours, expeditions or trips
- Groups and organizations outside the communities we serve
