Comparison Summary

You can't go wrong with either of these F-150 trims, both have impressive power and uniquely styled comfort. The Limited has more convenience and performance features as well as the best-in-class High-Output 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine with 450 horsepower. The Platinum's 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine is also quite powerful with 395 horsepower but the Platinum trim doesn't get some performance features like the Electronic Locking Axel, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, and the Extended Range Fuel Tank.

Overall both are powerful pickups that offer a great list of features to truck buyers. Keep in mind Ford updated the design of the F-150 in 2021 and the photos used on this page are from both generations.
