The third generation Chevy Silverados (2014-current) are available in three different engines. The 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 Engine gets up to 18 city / 24 highway miles per gallon, can tow up to 7,600 pounds, delivers 285 horsepower at 5,300 rpm and produces 305 lb-ft of torque at 3,900 rpm. The 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 Engine gets up to 16 city / 23 highway miles per gallon, can tow up to 11,100 pounds, delivers 355 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and produces 383 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 rpm. Finally, the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 Engine gets up to 15 city / 21 highway miles per gallon, can tow up to 12,000 pounds, delivers 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and produces 460 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 rpm.

From 2007 to 2013, the Silverado 1500 was available in five different engines. The 4.3L Vortec 4300 V6 engine, which was around from 2007-2013, delivered 195 horsepower @ 4600 rpm and 260 lb-ft of torque at 2800 rpm.

4.8L Vortec 4800 V8
The 4.8L Vortec 4800 V8 was updated three times between 2007 and 2013. From 2007-2008, the 4.8L V8 produced 295 hp @5600 rpm and 305 lb-ft of torque @ 4800 rpm. The 2009 Silverado 1500 with the 4.8L V8 produced 295 hp @5600 rpm and 305 lb-ft of torque @ 4600 rpm. The 2010-2013 Silverado 1500s with the 4.8L V8 produced 302 hp @ 5600 rpm and 305 lb-ft of torque @ 4600 rpm.
6.0L Vortec 6000 V8
The 6.0L Vortec 6000 V8 from 2007-2008 delivered 367 hp @ 5500 rpm and 375 lb-ft or torque at 4300 rpm. The Silverado 1500 with the 6.0L V8 delivered 367 hp @ 5600 rpm and 375 lb-ft or torque at 4300 rpm.
6.2L Vortec 6200 V8
Finally, the 6.2L Vortec 6200 V8 engine, which was available in the 2009-2013 Silverado 1500s produced 403 hp @ 5700 rpm and 417 lb-ft or torque at 4300 rpm.

Cab Sizes
Our used Chevy Silverados are available in regular cab, double cab and crew cab. The regular cab has a single row of two or three seats. There are no rear seats in the cabin. A crew cab truck has small doors to access smaller seats behind the first row. Finally, the crew cab offers four full-sized doors and two rows of seats.
Box Sizes
The Chevy Silverado comes in short, standard and long box sizes. The short box is 5 feet 8 inches, the standard box is 6 feet 6 inches long and the extended box is 8 feet long.
Exterior Colors
The third generation Silverado comes in Slate Grey Metallic, Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, Black, Tungsten Metallic, Siren Red Tintcoat, Autumn Bronze Metallic, Deep Ocean Blue Metallic and Irridecent Pearl Tricoat.

Silverado HD
The Chevy Silverado 2500HD (three-quarter ton) and the Chevy Silverado 3500HD (one ton) pickups comes in two engines. The 6.0L Vortec variable valve timing V8 SFI engine (360 horsepower, 380 lb-ft of torque) and the 6.6L Duramax turbo diesel V8 engine (397 horsepower, 765 lb-ft of torque). The Silverado 2500HD with the Vortec engine can tow up to 14,800 lbs and the Silverado 3500HD with the Vortec engine can tow up to 14,600 lbs. The Silverado 2500HD with the diesel engine can tow up to 18,000 pounds while the Silverado 3500HD with the diesel engine can tow up to 23,200 pounds.
Special Editions
The Silverado 1500 Midnight HD special edition comes with 18-inch black wheels, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac off-road tires, larger Z71 badging, black bumpers and a spray-in bedliner.
The Silverado 1500 Black Out Edition comes with 20-inch black wheels, deep-tinted windows, a black grille, black headlamp bezels and it is available on the regular cab and the double cab WT models.
The Silverado Custom Sport Edition comes with 20" polished aluminum wheels, chrome bodyside molding, chrome door handles and mirror caps, front and rear park assist, a spray in bedliner and it is available on the 2500 Crew Cab LT and LTZ models.
The Silverado Special Ops Edition includes 20" black aluminum wheels, a spray-in bedliner, all-terrain tires, sport assist steps, bed mounted sport bar with special ops signage, unique U.S. Naval inspired graphics, deep tinted windows and it is available on the Silverado 1500 WT double cab model.
