GMC SL or Pro
Starting with the SL or Pro trim, our most cost-effective option, you'll find exceptional value across all our models. Historically this trim has been called SL, but in recent years the entry level trim package has begun to be called Pro. However, it's important to note that each GMC vehicle boasts its unique appearance. While there are some subtle chrome accents, the overall use of chrome is minimal on the exterior.
For instance, the Sierra distinguishes itself with chrome bumpers, providing a touch of elegance.In terms of performance enhancements, the SL/Pro trim comes with the base-level engine, and it's worth noting that performance packages are not available as add-ons at this level.
One thing that GMC does well is include a lot of active safety features standard to each model giving all GMC customers peace of mind. To open up the available package you have to take the step up to the SLE. The features on each trim are slightly different on each model and model year but the features mostly standard for all SL models are: Remote Start, USB Ports, Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Back-up Assist, Forward Collision Alert, Teen Driver, Lane Keep Asssit with Lane Departure Warning.
GMC SLE
The SLE is the next trim level up and comes equipped with the same base engine options. The exterior is mostly the same as the SL but with body paint mirrors on most models and slightly more use of chrome accents. This trim is fit with most of the same features as well but opens up the door to the available packages like the Driver Convenience Package, Infotainment Package, Driver Alert Package, and many more. This also opens the door to better performance upgrades like better engine options. The SLE on the Sierra has the option for towing packages and bed upgrades as well.
GMC Elevation
The SLE is the next trim level up and comes equipped with the same base engine options. GMC SLT

The AT4 trim leve began as a special edition package more than a primary trim level like it is now. It represents a rugged and off-road-oriented variant of their vehicles. The Denali Ultimate trim level represents the pinnacle of luxury and performance within the GMC lineup. It is a premium, top-tier configuration available for select GMC vehicles, typically the Yukon, Sierra, and Terrain models, renowned for its blend of upscale features and cutting-edge technology.

Special Editions & Other Packages
Now with the special editions it gets a bit confusing but we will keep it simple and clear here. GMC offers a few special editions and added packages to add style and or functionality.
The Elevation package is a style package that adds onto the SLE trim with aggressive black accents and larger black wheels. You'll also get LED fog lights for a more modern and stylish look.
There are other packages as well that add a certain batch of convenience features like the adventure package or infotainment package but it's better to just look through the GMC.com vehicle builder to pick out the features that are important for you.
