Striking Design
The Elantra got its new striking makeover for last year's model. It sports its unique triangle shaped headlights and tail lights and features its available LED technology for a more visible path. The sharp cutting corners and edges of the headlights can be found all along the exterior of the Elantra. Other features that stand out are the available hands-free Smart Truck that opens when you need an extra hand. The Elantra wears a 15-inch steel wheel on the base model, but upgrade to a higher trim and bump up a couple sizes to 16 or 17-inch alloy wheels.
Performance Features
Efficently Powerful
Hyundai gives the 2020 Elantra 6 trim level options; SE, SEL, Value Edition, Eco, Limited and Sport. All models beside the Eco and Sport are powered by a 2.0L engine that delivers 147 horsepower. You may choose between the 6-speed manual transmission or the newly available Intelligent Variable Transmission. The Eco trim is powered by a 1.4L turbocharged GDI engine with a 7-speed eco-shift dual clutch transmission. The Sport uses an 1.6L turbocharged GDI 4-cylinder engine and pumps out 201 horsepower. The Elantra averages and estimated 31 MPG city and 41 MPG on the highway.
