The 2020 GMC Acadia received a mid-cycle refresh with big design changes made to the grill and headlights for a stronger, taller stance. The new grill is both taller and wider for a more assertive look that is paired with clean, modern LED lighting. The Acadia brings SUV customers impressive versatility with third row capability and storage in a driving platform that feels very nimble. The fresh look includes a long list of modern features including the latest in active safety technology.

Fresh Personality
The Acadia received a couple big changes to the grill and lighting design that give the mid-size SUV a as well as the addition of the all new AT4 performance trim. The design changes still retain the luxury feel of the GMC lineup but with a modern, sporty touch that is new to the Acadia in 2020. With more trims to choose from, the Acadia now has more personality for SUV customers to fall in love with.
Modern Headlights
The new grill and headlight design are slightly boxier than the previous generation. The squared up design feels more assertive and sporty with modern touches that add to the sleek look. The hood has a sculpted design with a muscular look and clean lines that gives the Acadia a unique combination of modern and rugged.
Sleek From All Angles
The rear redesign also carries a noticeable modern look with wider LED taillights and a sleek chrome bar across that ties the design together. The rear bumper has a silver lower fender and dual chrome exhaust adding to the modern look. And with some of the muscular body lines brought around back and around to the sides, the Acadia has a cohesive sporty design that still holds on to the signature luxury look when fit with the chromed out Denali trim.
Sporty AT4
With darkened details and strong lines, the new AT4 performance trim gives the Acadia an athletic personality with an aggressive side. The dark chrome accents paired with dark sport wheels and more muscular styling makes for the perfect combination in a new crowd-favorite.
Interior
Modern Interior
While most of the design changes were to the exterior styling, the interior brought some changes to simplify the layout and make better use of the space. The cabin is fitted with luxury features and technology that gives passengers comfort as well as next-level convenience. The Acadia cabin has great versatility with available storage and third row capability all with the high-end feel that GMC is known for.
Intuitive Technology
The infotainment system didn't receive any big changes in 2020 but that doesn't mean it lacks modern features. The standard 8 inch display has an intuitive interface that is easy to use and can be customised to your liking. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard as well to give you and your passengers easy connectivity to your favorite tunes.
Luxurious Materials
GMC is known for high-quality materials and luxury comfort on all its vehicles. The Acadia lineup has that in spades with high contrast stitching to give it a luxury look to match. The leather options give great luxury feel while the new AT4 trim has bold stitching to give customers a more all-terrain style.
All-Star Cabin
The second row of the Acadia has great legroom and available second row climate control to give passengers more control. Two usb ports are also positioned on the back of the center console along with a 120 volt outlet for easy charging on a variety of devices. Overall the layout of the cabin gives all passengers great comfort and easy in and out that is sure to make daily life easier.

Not only did the Acadia receive big exterior changes,The Acadia has improved ride-quality in 2020 with suspension changes and an all new 9-speed transmission that shifts incredibly smoothly. The brand-new nine-speed transmission is standard on all trims and moves away from the six-speed transmission that was present with the previous generation. The new transmission helps boost the overall driving experience with a zippy feel in a spacious SUV with a nice third-row.
AT4 Performance
After the success of the AT4 performance package on GMC trucks, the AT4 is being expanded to more of the GMC lineup, giving SUV customers a great off-road option. The AT4 brings torque vectoring technology to the 4WD system that improves traction by providing the most power to the wheels with the best grip at the moment.
