New Age Redesign
The Explorer has been a staple in the Ford lineup for over two decades being America's mid-sized family suv. Being said that, this year Ford decided it was time to change things up a bit and give their baby a little face lift. Ford keeps most of the key Explorer features such as the chrome grille, slick headlights and the blacked out pillars near the windshield that give it the classic look. The real changes come underneath like the brand new chassis, it rides on a new real-wheel platform and completely new powertrains. The engine sits back more horizontally which pushes back the face of the car making it look less bolus. Choose from 10 color variations; Rapid Red Metallic, Agate Black, Atlas Blue, Blue Metallic, Iconic Silver, Magnetic, Oxford White, Rich Copper Metallic, Silver Spruce, and Star White Metallic.

Smooth Riding
The Explorer hauls in a large line-up for the year 2020 with the XLT, Limited, Platinum and ST models. Starting off with the base XLT and most models, the Explorer is fitted with a 2.3-liter turbo 4 engine pumping out 300 horsepower and 310 lbs.-ft. of torque. The Limited Hybrid models are configured to a 3.3-liter V-6 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission with 318 horsepower and 322 lb.-ft. of torque. The Platinum trim gets an upgraded 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 that makes 365 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft. of torque. Across the board the Explorer has excellent handling and rides very smooth even when towing or off-roading. The four-wheel drive and multi-mode driving system with off-road-oriented and towing modes are offered on most of the lineup. Tow up to 5,600 lbs. on select models.

The 2020 Ford Explorer offers four-wheel drive and multi-mode driving system with off-road-oriented and towing modes. Standard trailer sway control brakes and adjusts engine power to maintain trailer control. When properly equipped, the Explorer can tow up to 5,600 lbs. First impressions when you open the doors to the 2020 Ford Explorer is a luxury type feel. Leather seats with white stitching can be followed throughout the whole cabin. Large front captain chairs come available with heated and cooling seats. On the ST trim level the driver's seat has an available massage feature. The Explorer sports some new tech designs that we don't normally see in a family suv, like the large vertical 10.1-inch LCD touch screen and a gear dile instead of a shifter. Other features you may find are rain sensing wipers, wireless charging, an available twin-panel sunroof, and Fords Sync3 system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
