Exterior
Classic Front Grill
The exterior of the Escalade has been updated with a larger cascade front grill giving the SUV a signature style that stays true to it's classic roots. The large front grill comes in chrome but is also available in a sleek gloss black with the Sport trim that gives off a more aggressive appearance.
Stacked Crystal LEDs
Cadillac also redesigned the headlights with a large stacked LED design that is sure to turn heads. Each headlight is made up of 5 stacked crystal LED lights and a vertical daytime running line that both output bright white light. The fog lights are tied into the front grill with a very creative design that makes them appear as an extension of the headlight.
Innovative Taillights
One of the more eye-catching exterior features is the taillights that run all the way up the rear gate. The bold brake lights highlight the aggressive shape of the Escalade and help give the luxury SUV a captivating appearance from all angles.
Interior
A Luxury Masterpiece
The cabin of the Escalade is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and comfort. The design of the interior shows the incredible attention to detail that Cadillac brings to their vehicles. Spacious Cabin
The ESV model makes great use of its longer wheelbase and gives an impressive 120.9 cubic feet of cargo space. The rear of the cabin features automatic folding rear seats that can easily be controlled with one finger from the back of the vehicle. The rear liftgate can be controlled with one-touch from either the rear hatch or the key fob but can also be triggered with a simple wave of the foot under the rear bumper for hands free liftgate assist.
Next Level Amenities
Cadillac also offers some unique luxury features on the interior that take the Escalade to the next level. In the large center console, you can use the space for storage or upgrade to the available mini refrigerator. The mini fridge gives great use to the space to allow you to keep you and your passengers drinks perfectly cold on long car rides. Superior Ride Quality
Cadillac not only provides luxury with design but also superior ride quality. The Escalade accelerates with ease despite its weight and floats over bumpy roads with the help of the new Magnetic Ride Control Suspension.
6.2L 10-Speed V8
Cadillac fitted the Escalade with the 6.2L 10-speed V8 engine that outputs 420 horsepower and has a towing capacity of 8,100 lb to headline the performance capabilities. The 6.2L engine provides power right when you need it and the 10-speed automatic transmission shifts with ease creating smooth, even acceleration.
Magnetic Ride Control
With luxury at the center of everything Cadillac does, the ride quality of the Escalade exceeds all expectations. The new Magnetic Ride Control Suspension reads the road 1,000 times per second and automatically adjusts to best fit road conditions. Cadillac did a great job of bringing safety and piece of mind to all trim levels including the newest in safety technology. The safety of the Escalade starts off with a high strength steel frame and well-engineered body that scored four stars in NHTSA crash tests. The weight of the vehicle also comes into play with any collision and the ESV is quite heavy, weighing in at a hefty 5,489 lbs.
Impressive Braking
With so much weight, the Escalade needs impressive brakes to match. The ESV comes equipped with very capable vented disc brakes with Duralife rotors. Cadillac also offers a brake upgrade to Red Brembo brakes with larger Duralife rotors to increase the brake pad area 84% which improves the effectiveness and reduces noise.
