Monetary Sponsorship Requests
McGrath Cares 2026 Event Sponsorship applications open September 1st and close October 31st. Applications will be reviewed and applicants notified by the first week of January 2026.
Thank you to all who submitted an application. Applications will open for 2027 in September 2026.
Non-Monetary Donations
Non-monetary donations and silent auction requests are accepted year-round and should be submitted at least 30 days prior to your event.
Greater Cedar Rapids Foundation
McGrath Cares focuses on event sponsorships. If you’re looking for larger program funding or grants, we recommend reaching out to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation — they’re a great resource for that type of support.
Let’s Partner Up and Pitch In Together!
Through our McGrath Cares initiative, the McGrath Family of Dealerships proudly continues a long-standing tradition of community support. For more than 70 years, we’ve been deeply involved in the Cedar Rapids area through event sponsorships, volunteer efforts, donations, and fundraising partnerships.
McGrath Cares Community Drive
Held quarterly, the McGrath Cares Community Drive partners with a different local non-profit every three months. Customers who donate receive a service discount, creating a meaningful exchange that benefits everyone involved.
Each event also features the McGrath AutoCare Giveaway — available exclusively to in-person participants on the day of the event. One lucky winner is selected at every Community Drive.
All service drives participate, giving everyone an opportunity to donate and win.
Funding Exclusions
- Individual needs, including scholarships or medical bills
- Political organizations
- Membership dues
- Travel funds for tours or expeditions
- Organizations outside the communities we serve
