After making its global debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2020 Hyundai Palisade is finally ready to hit the streets in Cedar Rapids. Bringing noteworthy comfort, new tech and safety features, the Palisade is making a name for itself in the midsize SUV class. Exterior Features
New Design Era
The new 2020 Palisade's styling demonstrates its distinctive and bold road presence. Its front features including its bold, wide, cascading grille, and its vertical-connected headlamps give it a unique reptilian quality face or as Hyundai designers call them "crocodile eyes". Chrome stripes line the tops of the windows and dip down towards the back wheels. Around the back the rear taillights reflect the front with its vertical styling. The base models come standard with 18-inch alloy wheels or with higher trims you can get the available 20-inch. Other available features include roof rails and dual panel sunroof.
Performance Specs
A Smooth & Powerful Ride
Driving the Palisade is like driving on clouds. It's smooth and cushy ride also pumps out the power when it needs to. The 2020 Palisade is offered in three trim level configurations, the SE, SEL and Limited. All trim levels are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 GDI engine for power and efficiency. Pumping out 291 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 262 lb.-ft. of torque @ 5,000 rpm. All this power is driven through its 8-speed automatic transmission. The Palisade has multiple drive modes such as Comfort, Eco, Sport, Snow, and Smart, which the Palisade switches accordingly. The Palisade has available all-wheel drive.

With all 3 rows of seating in upright position, the Palisade offers up 18 cubic feet of cargo. With all seating folded down you can increase that to a whopping 86.4 inches.
As teach features go, each row of passengers offer USB outlets for convenience for all passengers. The front dashboard holds a 10.25 inch touchscreen in a widescreen format with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
