Toyota Tundra for Sale in Iowa City!
The Toyota Tundra has come a long way from its humble beginnings over 20 years ago. The all-new 1794 edition handles like a dream, guaranteeing a smooth ride on every type of terrain and offering impressive towing capabilities.
The new TRD version kicks it into high gear where the old version left off and corrects a few lingering issues in the process. The grille has grown in size to keep up with industry trends, and now there's a chrome ring that extends into the front bumpers like a handlebar mustache highlighting the chainmail-like mesh of the grille. Surprisingly, the Tundra performs remarkably well even without the enormous V8 engine.

Toyota Tundra Features
Toyota provides a modified version with 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque in addition to the standard 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with 348 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. In either case, a slick 10-speed automatic is available, and while 2WD is the default, 4WD is also an option.

The i-FORCE MAX hybrid comes last. This bad boy generates 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque from the same V6 when electrified. A deceptively small 1.87 kWh battery fully powers the electric motor generator.

Interior Upgrades
The Toyota Tundra's dashboard overhaul is a night-and-day improvement over the previous models. The formerly small and awkward center touchscreen has been replaced with a massive 14-inch landscape display running the new infotainment system Toyota shares with Lexus. The embarrassingly tiny cluster screen has been replaced with digital instruments in the Platinum specification. Even a head-up display is now available. SiriusXM, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Toyota's vastly better voice control system are all available wirelessly.
The SX aesthetic option, brand-new for the SR5 trims this year, gives the Tundra's interior and exterior trim additional design features in black and dark gray. The SX option adds 18-inch dark gray wheels; black door handles, body trim, a center area of the rear bumper, and a darker rear 4x4 emblem. The Tundra door badges are gone, and the inside embellishments are now all black. White, silver, gray, or black exterior paint choices can all have the SX package applied.

Powerful Engine
The standard engine version, a twin-turbocharged V-6, has 348 or 379 horsepower, depending on the model. In comparison, the more potent hybridized version has 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. Every Tundra has a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
There are three distinct power levels of this engine. The non-hybrid engine's output on the basic SR trim is 348 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Otherwise, it produces 479 pound-feet and 389 horses. The non-hybrid Limited test truck had a zero-to-60-mph speed of 6.1 seconds. The hybrid model has an electric motor built into the gearbox, allowing for low-speed pure electric drive.

Gas Mileage
The base grade of the Toyota Tundra has 24 MPG. Thanks to Toyota's suspension changes, it is a far more enjoyable vehicle to drive on long trips. The old truck's jostling and bounce, as well as its shouty manners, or lack thereof, are no longer present. The ride is stable, the interior is relatively quiet, and the steering has a decent amount of weight. Corners no longer seem like a formula for immediate lean.
