McGrath Certified Exchange Policy Explained
Within the first three business days or 150 miles from the date of the purchase (whichever comes first), the purchaser may return an eligible McGrath Certified vehicle to the selling dealer for an exchange of another eligible McGrath Certified vehicle.
If during the Customer Satisfaction Guarantee (3-Day/150 Mile Vehicle Exchange Policy) period, the purchaser chooses to trade in their vehicle to the selling dealer for another eligible McGrath Certified vehicle, the purchaser will receive credit for the following amounts paid toward the vehicle returned: the "down payment", the "agreed-upon trade-in value", and any amounts paid toward the principal balance cost of the finance agreement.
If the purchase price of the vehicle being traded for is less than the purchase price of the vehicle being returned, the purchaser will receive credit for the difference. If the purchase price of the vehicle being traded for is more, the purchaser will pay the difference.
If you financed the original McGrath Certified purchase, you understand that the terms (interest rate, down payment, etc.) may change as the result of an exchange, solely at the discretion of the financial institution.
McGrath Certified Exchange Policy Eligibility
ALL MCGRATH CERTIFIED vehicles and except those explicitly excluded below are eligible for the Customer Satisfaction Guarantee (3-Day/150-Mile Vehicle Exchange Policy) if returned to the selling dealer within the first 3 business days (a business day is when the selling dealer has normal scheduled operations) or 150 miles (whichever occurs first) of delivery. ALL MCGRATH CERTIFIED vehicles are eligible to be exchanged within the first 3 business days or 150 miles (whichever occurs first) of delivery for a vehicle of equivalent value.
The vehicle must currently be owned or leased by the purchaser/leasee of the MCGRATH CERTIFIED vehicle. The vehicle must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered to the customer without damage or excessive wear and tear. Refer to Vehicle Inspection section below.
McGrath Certified Exchange Policy Exclusions
- Fleet purchase and fleet lease vehicles
- Vehicles used for livery, taxi or delivery services
- Customers who exchanged a vehicle under the Customer Satisfaction Guarantee (3-Day/150-Mile Vehicle Exchange Policy) within the previous 12 months)
- Vehicles acquired in exchange for a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle under the Customer Satisfaction Guarantee (3-Day/150-Mile Vehicle Exchange Policy)
